is located in South Central Nebraska
60 miles west-northwest of the geographical
center of the United States. It is15
miles north of the Kansas-Nebraska state
line and 39 miles south of Interstate
80 which passes through the center of
the state from east to west.
Oxford is on Hiway 136 which runs from
east to west across the southern edge
of Nebraska and follows the Republican
River. Highway 136 is sometimes called
the Heritage Highway
because of the pioneer history that
is found along this trail. |
